Children (aged 5 years and up) enrolled in FwFL, along with their parent(s), can continue
their Spanish learning with 3 hours of Spanish classes Monday -Thursday where children
and parents will be grouped in small classes separately. Classes will be taught using FwFL
topics that students have been studying and will include field trips to local establishments
to help reinforce the lessons. While at CRLA, families will not only be immersed in the
Spanish language, but they can also participate in family cooking classes and Latin dance
classes. Additionally, families will have the opportunity to visit beaches, ecological parks,
coffee farms and other cultural locations that provide an inside view into the many wonders
of this country.

Saturday: Arrival in San Jose, Costa Rica and transfer to Boutique Jade Hotel
Sunday: Beach tour “Best of the Pacific”
Monday: Spanish classes 9-12pm; 1-2pm Family cooking class
Tuesday: Spanish classes 9-12pm; 1-4pm Children’s Museum of Costa Rica with a guided
tour with teacher from CRLA
Wednesday: Spanish classes 9-12pm; 1-2pm Family latin dance class
Thursday: Spanish classes 9-12pm; 1-4pm Visit to The National Institute of Biodiversity
(INBio) park with a guided tour with teacher from CRLA.
Friday: Tour Arenal Volcano and swim at Baldi Hot Springs
Saturday: Canopy Tour (for individuals aged 7 and up) or Coffee Plantation Tour
Sunday: Transfer from hotel to Airport
The price for this program with hotel stay is $1422 for each adult and $900 for each child.
The price includes:
*Transfers from airport to hotel; from hotel to airport
*Breakfast and lunch at Punta Leona Beach Tour
*FwFL designed Spanish classes; Monday – Thursday 3 hours each day
*Family Costa Rican cooking and latin dance classes
*Transportation and entrance fee for Children’s Museum and INBio park
*Tour at Arenal Volcano and entrance to Baldi hot springs; lunch, and dinner
*Tour Rainforest Canopy or tour of coffee plantation
