Our Philosophy on Culture and Phonetics
We believe that an important part of learning a second language is learning the culture as well.
Children enrolled in our program are not only taught the language, they are also exposed to
culture of the foreign language.
Research confirms that young children have the innate ability to mimic the sounds of a foreign
language almost exactly. It is for this reason that each class spends some time practicing the
sounds of the foreign language's alphabet.
Classes
Each 10 week session focuses on a main theme, such as parts of the body or colors. This allows
teachers to focus their instruction time on one primary topic. This also gives children that join our
program mid-session an opportunity to learn the main topic. Concepts learned in one session
are always revisited in other sessions. Classes are kept small for optimal interaction with the
teacher. Each student will have an opportunity to reinforce the day's themes through weekly audio
activity sheets, which can be accessed through our website using a user id and password.
What Can My Child Learn?
Depending on the number of hours of exposure to the foreign language, the child's age, learning
pace, and skill level, the child can learn the cultural aspects of the foreign language and the basic
skills of listening, comprehension, and oral expression of a foreign language. At the conclusion
of each session, each parent/guardian will receive a brief progress report that indicates how their
child did during the session.
Toddler and Parent/Caregiver Class (45 minutes)
Tuition for 10 weeks: $160
Registration Fee: $20 per year
18 months-3 years old
Parents/caregivers can actively participate in these classes along with the toddler. The goal is to
teach basic listening, comprehension, and speaking (depending on age of child) skills of simple
Spanish words.
Maximum class size: 6 children
Minimum class size: 4 children

Tuition for 10 weeks: $185
Registration Fee: $20 per year
4-6 years old
The goal of this class is to teach basic listening, comprehension, and speaking skills of simple
Spanish words and phrases.
Maximum class size: 7 children
Minimum class size: 4 children
